Well, at least the Newspaper of Wreckage has finally admitted their liberally biased stance on politics. And by reading that article, their own words damn them to being nothing more than a Democrat Party shill — something the rest of the literate world has known for some time.
On Tuesday, when this page runs the list of people it has endorsed for election, we will include no Republican Congressional candidates for the first time in our memory. Although Times editorials tend to agree with Democrats on national policy, we have proudly and consistently endorsed a long line of moderate Republicans, particularly for the House. Our only political loyalty is to making the two-party system as vital and responsible as possible.
That is why things are different this year.
To begin with, the Republican majority that has run the House — and for the most part, the Senate — during President Bush’s tenure has done a terrible job on the basics. Its tax-cutting-above-all-else has wrecked the budget, hobbled the middle class and endangered the long-term economy. It has refused to face up to global warming and done pathetically little about the country’s dependence on foreign oil.
Tax-cutting-above-all-else wrecked the budget? Bullshit. Pork spending has wrecked the budget. Congresscritters of all stripes dipping their hands into the pot in order to spread the wealth to the special interests who helped get them elected has wrecked the budget.
Global warming? BWAHAHAHA! Even with all of the sky is falling drama from Leftist Gaia worshippers, this theory of global warming still has not been proven... unless you are a Lefty-shill looking for another reason to hate conservatives.
Hobbled the middle class. Oh. I see. The economy is so hobbled that unemployment is at 4.4% (lowest in years!), and the Dow Jones Industrial average is setting all-time record highs. Man, I can't wait for this sucky economy to improve. Will someone please tell me when things start getting better?
Dependence on foreign oil. After the Left has fought tooth and nail against any and every proposed plan that would open more oil drilling within the United States, the NY Slimes (and the rest of the Left) has the intestinal fortitude to say something like this ... and with a straight face? The consistent line from the Left: No you can't drill there! Hey, fix our dependency on foreign oil! Stop! You can't drill there, either! Why aren't we making our own oil? No! Drilling there might screw up the ecosystem! Where's the American oil?
Lying, scheming, Democrat hacks.
And don't forget: This screed comes from the al-Aqaeda's primary source of intelligence on United States top secret programs (SWIFT, for one) , and then does an about-face, decrying revelation of an internet guide to building an atomic weapon.
Remember, a vote for a Democrat is a vote for both the Islamofascist terrorists and the New York Slimes.
