Islam. The religion which non-followers must never be allowed allowed to disrespect (See Cartoon-ihad), and which followers are not allowed to leave (See Abdul Rahman — an Afghan once a Muslim, now a Christian). It is also the religion which extremist believers feel must not be spread by welcoming new and willing followers, but rather by eliminating those who do not already believe. It is as if humans are supposedly born with some sort of automatically executed [no pun intended] "boot program" that sets their religious preference to Islam upon "startup".

What a choice, eh?

• Convert to Islam or you will be killed — by Muslims
• Remain a Muslim or you will be killed — by Muslims
• Disrespect Islam, and you die — at the hand of Muslims

This kind of Islam is supposed to be considered a "religion"? Of peace? [Say it with me now, "MY ASS!"] It would be more aptly entitled "Middle Eastern Mafia". You will join us. And once you are in, you're in for good. You can never leave.

No, Islam is not a religion of peace. Islam is a primarily a belief system, with the "religion" taking the back seat (Example: the KKK also had a "belief system" — rooted in Christianity). Why do I compare Islam in with the notorious KKK? The KKK was the first to come to mind, and there are plenty of others, I'm sure. But Islam, like so many other evil "belief systems" seek one common goal: Power. Nothing more, nothing less. It's not about the beliefs as much as it is about wielding power over others.

The Shiite-vs-Sunni violence in Iraq is not about peace, nor is it about converting willing followers. It is Muslims killing fellow Muslims over nothing more than "how" they believe (Does the Irish Catholic-vs-Protestant violence come to mind?). The ability to prove one's beliefs are superior. By holding an upper hand on non-followers, they achieve the power for which they endlessly thirst. Funny, when it comes to mere "bragging rights" over whose religion is superior, the primary commandments of that religion can be completely ignored? The religion's own edicts concerning murder ("Thou shalt not commit murder", for Christians) mean nothing. Belief system superiority overrides the religion's own teachings. The followers willingly make a mockery of their own religion... for power.

The recent issue over Abdul Rahman is an infuriating one. It violates my own morals for a human to be put to death just because he changed his religious convictions. What kind of "religion" [snort!] allows this travesty? None other than Islam, of course. Rather than put forth the effort to try and bring this "lost soul" back into the fold, barbarous Muslims seek to take the simple, we-are-superior route and just kill him.

Although many desire the U.S. government to exert pressure on Afghanistan's president Karzai, unfortunately, it will do absolutely no good. That is, unless the pressure is for Abdul to be released into Western custody and safely removed from Afghanistan. If he is not removed from the imam-induced raging mobs, simply releasing Abdul from jail will only hasten his own execution murder. There is a virtually unlimited supply of Afghani citizens who are nothing more than unquestioning Muslim zombies. These zombies mindlessly and happily follow the edicts from their religion's leaders. Seemingly, the more brutal and violent the edict, the more fervor with which it will be carried out — the imam-staged Cartoon-ihad is only one perfect example. If the imams should even mutter under their breath that Abdul Rahman should be put to death for his personal beliefs, the man will not see another sunrise.

Such is the way of the Religion of Peace (My Ass).

Slightly off topic, yet related: We are supposed to be tolerant of the followers of this so-called religion? Oh, I forgot. Americans are supposed to be tolerant of everything...including religion-discriminating and murderous Islam, the shallow and race-discriminating NAACP. But that tolerance excludes the religion-and-race-discriminating Klu Klux Klan, anything Christian, and all rich people (redoubled if they are white, unless they donate to the Democrat Party).
